Three Former Stars Are Returning To As The World Turns.

Paul Leyden (CBS)
Fans who have been waiting to hear if Lesli Kay would be the only old character returning are now in luck. It's been announced that Mark Collier, Peter Parros and Paul Leyden will also be returning to the cast of As The World Turns this November.

Collier played the role of Mike Kasnoff from 2003 until 2007 before leaving the series and popping up on "CSI: Miami" last year. Leyden played the role of Simon Frasier from 2003 until 2007, picking up an Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series nomination back in 2002. After leaving Daytime, he became a regular on the series, "Canal Road." Peter Parros, who played the part of Dr. Benjamin "Ben" Robert Harris from 2003 until 2005 will also be returning to Oakdale after spending the past few years poking around in Primetime with roles on "Bones" and "Law & Order."

Although specific dates of their returns have yet to be released, these returns should give the audience plenty to look forward to this year. Soaps.com is happy to welcome them back and will keep you informed of further details as they are released.

WOW!!! We just won the prize...three times no less.Please let Simon and Carly get back together...I like Craig but Simon and Carly were wonderful together....maybe this well in ATWT's ratings and keep them off the chopping block...durn sure can't hurt!!

this is awesome news! the adonis himself Mark Collier is returning. finally katie can have a real storyline w/ both her ex husbands and throwing leslie kay into the mix will only make this better. now i have reason to watch atwt.

This is AWESOME!!!Love Simon; I think they are bringing him back for Carly; then Jack will have a hissy fit and this will break up Jack and Janet. Then it will be a love triangle between Jack/Carly/Simon. I think they are bringing back Mike for Rosanna; but will stir up trouble for Katie and her hubby (I forgot his name). I just can't figure out who they will hook Ben up with. Whoever has him is one lucky woman.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!Let's hope this up's the ratings mega so all worries of the show going the way of GL can be laid to rest - permanently.

I am sooooo happy. I loved all four of these characters. The actors that played them and are coming back are all my favorite actors. I know Simon will only be back for maybe six months but I am glad he's back. No matter how long or short he stays. I really love Lesli Kay. She was such a favorite of mine. I named my rescue dog Molly. Mark Collier was my favorite Mike. It took me a few seconds to remember Peter Parros but when I did it brought back wonderful memories of him. I am so excited. I cann't wait. I don't expect Paul Leyden to stick around for very long but I hope the other ones are around for a good while. When I heard that the actor from GL (Tom ? I forgot his last name) was going to be on ATWT I was so glad. He is so good. I heard he is going to be a bad guy. I hope he turns and stays a long time.

What is this a big perfect square hole in the middle of a forest and so deep? They have drudge this Holden mess way out too long!! I'm glad to see these new characters come back. I agree the ratings need to come up I worry about my favorite soap going of!!

What about Jessica(Tamara)? Will she also be returning? Where is Dusty? Did he and Bonnie disappear?
