Hunter finds out that Emily and Larry are his biological parents and leaves Oakdale, Carly screams at Sage, and Jack and Janet agree to attend the wedding.

While Hunter is in his room packing to leave, Emily pleads with him to stay. She blurts out that she is his mother. Hunter can’t believe what she's saying. She tells him that the way Alison is her daughter, he is her son. She explains that someone stole her leftover eggs and they were transferred to the University of Chicago where Aurora worked. She tells him Aurora gave birth to him but he's her biological son. He tells her he doesn’t believe a word of it. She tells him that perhaps Aurora couldn’t have a child on her own. She continues to tell him that Aurora knew Larry McDermott and how Emily found the engraved money clip. He still can’t believe it. He asks her if she has proof. She shows him the DNA report which confirms what she's said. Hunter is shocked and asks about his relationship to Alison. Emily says she’s his sister and he hurriedly runs out of the room.

At Worldwide, Larry sees Alison and tells her that he’s looking for Emily. She says she's looking for Hunter. She tells him about being with Hunter and he asks her exactly what happened. Alison tells him that they kissed but that she stopped herself from going further. She asks him if it would be so bad if they had done more. Larry says that it would have. He invites her to come to Chicago and live with him for awhile. He says it will give them a chance to get to know each other better. She says she has a lot of ties in Oakdale so he asks her to think about it. Emily joins them and asks them to tell Hunter that she wants to finish their conversation. Alison leaves. Emily asks Larry if he told Alison the truth. He asks her to let the secret rest in peace. She shouts that it’s too late. He says he fell in love with a beautiful woman but afterwards he couldn’t face the responsibility. Emily calls him a cheat and a coward.

After Rosanna’s dinner, Craig and Carly are cleaning up when Craig dumps the champagne down the sink. Rosanne comes in and asks why he’s pouring out perfectly good champagne. Carly changes the subject and talks about the wedding. Craig tells her to finish her dress. Rosanna can’t believe she is always doing what Craig tells her to, and asks her what’s going on. Craig tells Rosanna that Carly has a lot on her plate and that he is just helping. Rosanna asks Carly directly to confirm that what Craig is saying is true. Parker joins them and says he needs a new suit. Rosanna offers to take him shopping and they leave.

At Jack and Janet's, Sage tells them that she wants to go to a Bluebird Brigade camp tomorrow with her friend but Jack points that she would miss her mom’s wedding. Janet and Jack discuss how Sage’s absence might affect Carly and the wedding.
At Carly's, Craig asks her if things are okay between them. He tells her to lean on him and that there is nothing he wants more than to make her wedding day one of the happiest days of her life. He hugs her but she's uncomfortable.

At Java, Alison finds Hunter and he tells her to stay away from him. She suggests they go back to his place. He says he can’t because when he looks at her, all he wants to do is hold her. He tells her that they just can’t happen. She asks him what he is talking about. He tells her that they share the same mother, Emily. Alison tells him to stay and says maybe their bond can be as friends. Hunter tells her that he’s in love with her but says he can’t be with her as he’s not supposed to. She explains that she doesn’t think of Emily as her mother and that he won’t either. He grabs his suitcase and leaves.

Janet, Jack and Sage are at Carly’s door. She lets them in and Jack tells Carly that Sage has decided that she would like to go to Camp Idlewild. Carly says that would mean she would miss the wedding and angrily shouts at Jack accusing him of planting the idea. Janet tells Carly and Craig that Jack actually tried to talk Sage out of it. Carly shouts that she will not get married without her daughter there. She shouts in Sage’s face that if she doesn’t want to go, she doesn’t have to! Sage runs away. Rosanna and Parker walk in the door and ask what’s going on. Carly's crying and her mascara is streaming down her face. She accuses Rosanna for not wanting her to marry Craig. Craig says she is blowing it all out of proportion. Carly screams, “It’s all off” and asks if everyone is happy now! Craig suggests that Janet and Jack leave and they do. Carly calms down and says that screaming at Sage isn’t normal. Craig suggests that she see a therapist or attend a support group. She says all she wants to do is get through the wedding and she will be happy. Sage comes back in and asks Carly if she is still mad at her. Carly suggests they call the camp and drive her up the day after the wedding. Carly promises Sage that she will never yell at her again. Sage and Craig leave the room and Carly grabs a bottle of liquor and discreetly swigs a drink. She sees Rosanna suddenly and says the stress of the wedding got to her. She says she wants to phone Jack to apologize to him for her meltdown.

Back at Jack’s, he answers the phone and Carly explains that Sage will go to the camp the day after the wedding. She asks them to come to the wedding. Jack says they will. Janet says she’s glad they’re going because once Carly is married, she becomes Craig’s problem, not Jack’s.
At Worldwide, Emily and Alison hug and Alison tells Emily that Hunter is in love with her. Alison tells her that she tried to stop Hunter from leaving but couldn't and now he’s gone.

In Carly’s living room, Rosanna tells Carly to start acting normal again. Carly says she needs to finish her wedding dress upstairs and doesn’t want to be disturbed. She goes outside to get her jacket. Rosanna tells Craig that whatever is going on with Carly, she thinks he’s in on it. Carly returns with a liquor bottle hidden under her jacket and goes upstairs. Rosanna begs Craig to tell her what’s going on. He says he’ll see her at the wedding and leaves.
