I am sorry but he just doesn't cut it for me at all (he is way too soft, especially when he had that make out scene with Liz!)! I want the other Lucky back!

JJ rocks the house. Not that Greg was bad, just not JJ. You must not have watched GH since the beginning of time like I have. JJ is the one and only Lucky, it's a shame he left in the first place. The look in TG eyes when he is talking to JJ is so father son, something that TG and GV never really had. I want to see him with LuLu. Thank you TPTB for bringing JJ home, now let's keep him and bring Laura home without Scot.

I am a true fan of GH...and I watched back when they were kids and everything! I still didn't like him back then! I am assuming that's part of the reason why they let him go...

And I am happy that GH is bringing, dare I say 'FRESH FACES' to the table too!

OH AND I LOVE THE STORY LINE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!

I'm still not feeling his returning character! But hey thats called life (it isn't always fair!). I just hope that he won't have long scenes, maybe that will help!

I missed the years when JJ was Lucky, though I had been watching GH since the mid 1970s. I started watching again 2-3 years ago and I grew to really like GV's Lucky. I haven't enjoyed the Niz s/l one bit. Every time Niz is on the screen, I avert my eyes. It is just so wrong and I hate how Lucky has been clueless about Niz. This is Lucky who helped Liz through the aftermath of her rape. Okay, maybe Helena's brainwashing would partly explain why Lucky is less attuned to Liz's emotional state. Since I missed JY's Lucky as well and the first 3 years of GV's Lucky, I have been way out of the loop.

When I heard that JJ was returning and I read all these glowing posts from JJ fans, I figured that I would give JJ a chance. I thought that JJ must be something special if people are still raving about him 10 years later. I made sure to be home to watch last Tuesday's epi.

I was blown away by JJ's Lucky. I didn't expect the charisma, soulfulness, depth, vulnerability, layers of emotion, intensity and his expressive eyes. I immediately noticed a difference in GV's Lucky and JJ's Lucky. There is a depth and gravitas to JJ's Lucky that GV's Lucky didn't have (and I loved GV's Lucky). On Wednesday, I was again glued to the TV to watch JJ's Lucky. I loved the scene at the nurses' station. My heart melted when JJ's Lucky was telling Liz that he loves her imperfect perfection! Wow!

JJ is a powerhouse actor. I am very, very, very pleased that he is back as Lucky. I intend to watch GH every day despite my aversion to all the ugly mob stories and the Niz s/l because I don't want to miss a single scene with JJ's Lucky. Now with JJ's Lucky back, I am even feeling excited about the Niz s/l (which is a surprise to me) because I want to see how it works out. It is going to be amazing to see Nik and Lucky fighting after having built up a close relationship despite all the initial animosity between them - I have been watching old youtube clips of LnL1, Lucky/Nik, Lucky/Luke, Lucky/Laura and reading up on the JJ's Lucky years, so that I can be on board with JJ's Lucky. As Helena warned weeks ago, Valentin will take advantage of the division and animosity between Nik and the other Spencers. I really want to see Liz realized what she has lost in Lucky, fall in love with him again and try to win Lucky back. Lucky and Liz are soulmates. They belong together.

YES, I for one am thrilled to have JJ back as Lucky. I am once again excited about GH and eager to see the next episode. I haven't felt like this since I was middle school and I first started watching GH. I would race home from school and watch GH before doing my homework! My love of GH has remained through college and grad school and living outside of the country for many years. No matter how angry and annoyed I get with some of the storylines, I continue to be a GH fan. Now some 30 years later, I am still watching GH and I am just beside myself with renewed enthusiasm, all because of JJ's Lucky. I hope that he never leaves GH!!! I am looking forward to his future scenes with Lulu, Ethan, Helena, Valentin, Jason, his two boys. Wow!! Just great stuff!

I've watched GH for years and remember JJ from way back when. At the time he was perfect for the role. When Greg Vaughn first joined it took me awhile to get used to him as Lucky, but he made it work. He made the character his own and now it's just strange to see JJ back. I think he's a terrific actor - but he doesn't "look" the part anymore. I have a hard time picturing him getting into a fight on the docks, or being Mr. Super-Tough Cop and taking on Jason or any of the thugs in the Corinthos/Zachara organizations. Can you picture him taking on Dominic/Dante? Physically, I don't think he's right for the role anymore. Way back when, Lucky, Liz, Nikolas and Emily were kids - they've all grown up now and while everyone else has gone on with their lives, he still physically looks like a "young" Lucky. I just think it was a bad re-cast. I'm glad he's on the show and I know it would have been difficult to create a new chracter for him, but it's going to take time for me to get used to the "new old Lucky." I'm keeping my fingers crossed he'll prove me wrong, but at this stage that's difficult to imagine.

Welcome back JJ!!! You and Rebecca Herbst are the reason I tune in to Gh nothing else interest me on this show. Gh does not make me want to rush home to watch and thats sad. I keep thinking it will get better..but it has not. Go JJ!!!

He was great b ack when but now he seems like just a kid compared to the other lucky - Liz seems more like his mother then his lover...sorry JJ what was once good is no longer...
