Harve Presnell (Harve Presnell)
Fans of the 1989 defunct soap opera "Ryan's Hope" will be saddened, as we are, to hear that actor Harve Presnell passed away at the age of seventy-five on June 30 as a result of his fight against pancreatic cancer.

Not only did Harve appear as Matthew Crane on "Ryan's Hope" in 1984, he had numerous Primetime and film credits since breaking into the acting world at the age of sixteen. Some of his most recent appearances included "Cold Case," as Harry Kemp Jr. (2009), "Bait Shop," as Jack (2008) and one of his most memorable roles playing Mr. Parker on "The Pretender" from 1997 to 2000.

Soaps.com wants to send our deepest condolences to Harve's family, friends and everyone who had the pleasure of working with this great man over the years.

Didn't know him on the soaps. I remember this guy from the movie, "Fargo." (*no Jeanne--no MONEY!*)

I remember Harve on many different productions down through the years. What a great actor! They just don't make 'um like that anymore! My sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will be sadly missed, but thank goodness we will have his talent to enjoy in years to come.
