Passions Final Airdate on DirecTV and Super Channel!

Just a quick programming note. It has been announced that Passions will be concluding its run on DirecTV on Thursday, August the 7th, 2008 rather than on August the 11th as previously reported. If you're planning a Good-bye to Passions Party, it would be best to keep this in mind. You'll also be happy to know that DirecTV's The 101 Network will re-broadcast the final four episodes in a marathon on Friday, August the 8th.

For Canadian viewers, the same thing will apply. Super Channel has announced that the final episode of the show will air on August the 7th at 2 and 4 PM. This means that they shall commence with their repeat of the series, all the way from season one, beginning on August the 11th at 2 and 4 PM EST (please see story here) .

Sounds like a great opportunity to whip up a batch of martimmys and maybe even a tomato soup cake to witness the wind down of the series to its fated conclusion.

I dont think anyone else took over passions. From what I have heard this is the end of it.

WHY??? I SEEN THIS SHOW SINCE THE BEGGING AND CHANGED TO DIRECT TV FOR IT!!!!! WHY QUITE NOW?? IM SO SAD I LOVE THE SHOW!!!!

Im really going to miss passions.i have watch passions faithfuly from day one!!!!! i keep cheching the channel that passions came on everyday just to see if their might something on passions.i hope that they bring passions back

I have been with Passions since day one. It was sorta crazy but so very interesting. I even transfered my Cox
Cable to Direct TV for this reason. I am very sorry to have missed my last episode. But thanks for the update on that last show. I am even more pleased to hear how God was put in this program. As for any other comment on how Theresa behaved as a "bad/unfit mother", well they just don't understand what true love is all about. Many thanks to all the crew, actors, writers, etc. Just so sorry that it's all over. I really hope someone will bring it back!

I missed the last episode. Will they be showing it again? What happened? Did harmony get taken by the volcano? Did Juanita kill Pilar and her family???? I can't believe I didn't know it was going to end. What a bummer..I have watched that show for years.
